Welcome
I am an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist,
and I help my clients gain clarity and create change.

There are many reasons you may be looking for a therapist, and no “right reason” to seek help. You may have specific aims for your therapy, or you may not be sure why life is feeling challenging. Maybe you want a space where you can talk and be heard.
Whatever brings you to my room, I provide a safe and collaborative space to explore your experiences and support your growth.
Have a look around this website, and feel free to get in touch to get in touch to book a first consultation.

My approach

We all experience times when life is challenging, when we struggle, and we feel pain. It's a natural part of the human experience. But we are also incredibly creative when it comes to trying to protect ourselves, and avoiding difficult feelings. These coping mechanisms can become damaging, too, and we can feel less connected to ourselves and the people around us than we would like.
As a relational therapist and counsellor, I will work with you to understand your specific patterns and belief systems for navigating life, and how they have been shaped by past experiences. If we identify patterns you would like to change so you can have healthier relationships, more emotional stability, and/or come to terms with past pain and trauma(s), my aim is to walk along side you on that journey of growth.
I am interested in your unique story, your unique needs, and your unique way of relating to yourself and others. This can mean working with how marginalisation — whether that's due to race, culture, sexuality, gender identity, disability or class — can shape that unique story.

What to expect

The Therapy

My practice room is a light, comfortable and private space in East London, where we will work together to understand your experiences in both the past and present. I draw on my years of experience, training and a body of professional literature to help this understanding emerge. This work can be challenging, but it will always be at a pace that you're comfortable with.

I see clients face-to-face and online, via Zoom. We can agree to work together for a specific number of sessions (often thought of as counselling), or on an ongoing basis (which tends to be more psychotheraputic work), depending on your needs.

Next Steps

If you contact me, first we will have a free 15 minute phone or Zoom call so we can get to know each other and see if we could be a good fit to work together. You can ask any questions you may have.

In our first 50-minute session, you will share more of your story with me so I can better understand what you need from therapy. In this assessment, we will make an agreement about what that could look like in our first weekly 50 minute session.
